Surprise at Franklin

I went to the kids school today with the intentions of registering Jesse for kindergarden.
When I walked in the door, I was greeted by the secretary with, "Oh, here she is."
I thought they needed me for some FPO stuff, but then I was escorted back to the nurses office.
Rail had fallen at recess and split open his chin.
They were just getting ready to call me when I walked in.
It was a pretty good sized gash.

We took his to Carden Children's hospital where they fixed him up good.
A good friend of mine is a head nurse there so she called ahead and told them to treat us good.
They were all so nice.
They ended up stitching up the inside of the cut and glued the outside.
It turned out he had two lacerations.
The second one was small enough that they just glued it

                                                       .
The lovely lacerations before stitches.

Rail had to sit and wait after they applied some numbing gel.

The lacerations after stitches.   He was so brave.
