I saw it. It's official.
A few months ago, Cory and I decided we were ready to get pregnant again. I was ready to have my little girl, the one I had been telling everyone on the planet I was going to have after I had my 3 boys. So, this winter I got pregnant and we all waited for the all important question to be answered, girl or boy?????
Last month, when I went into my dr. appt, he did an ultrasound because I was measuring bigger than normal for 14 weeks. He wanted to make sure that there were not twins. (Luckily, there was only one baby). During the ultrasound, he checked to see if he could tell the gender. He pointed to some strange looking shape and said, "If I had to put money on it, I would say it is a boy." Needless to say, I was shocked. He could tell my disbelief, so I think, in an effort to appease me, he backstepped a little and said, "Well, it's still kinda early to tell. We can check again next month." Needless to say, this was a VERY long month. Since I did not see a weiner on the ultrasound, I still held out hope, even though my stomach was beginning to grow straight out, like it did with my other boys. I even had friends send positive girl vibes my way. So, I went in last week and got the second ultrasound. And boom, sticking out there for all to see was the WEINER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, it is official, we are having another boy. But I am excited because that will give Jesse a buddy. Case and Rail are so close and while they are good to include Jesse, I think as they get older, Jesse and this new baby can pal around.
So now that we know it's a boy, the difficult part of coming up with a name begins. That is always the worst part to me. Cory pretty much ends up picking the name. I am due September 1st, on my mom's birthday. So that is kinda cool. Anyway, I just thought we would make the official announcement.

remodeling
We have been dying to begin remodeling our house, since we have been here 3 years already. We decided the best place to start would be to turn our garage into something useful, since all it was doing was collecting junk. So we decided to turn it into a playroom. I am sure the neighbors are so grateful we finally tore down our broken garage door.
This weekend, we started laying the tile. The boys were really excited to help, so daddy taught Case how to spread the.... mortar??? (for the life of me, I can't think of what it is called.)
Case did a really good job, but it is pretty hard work for a little guy.
They were so excited with everything their daddy did in the garage. Watching him mix the mortar and water with the electric mixer was just mezmerizing (as you can tell). Anytime daddy uses an electrical tool, the boys drool all over it like a dog. They thoroughly enjoyed riding their scooters on the bare concrete. Even Jesse got in on the fun.

Drastic changes
Life has changed drastically for us this past week, so if you don't hear much from me, please understand. I started watching one of our friend's children. They had to leave their current nanny and were in desperate need of someone to take their kids, so Cory and I happily accepted. They are sweet sweet kids. There is a girl who is 3 1/2 and a boy who is 1. My kids love them. So now, I am the mother of 5 during the weekdays. It works out well because they entertain eachother. So, that being said, please be patient with my lack of communication.

To the zoo with the crew
While Brad and Mary were here this Christmas, we loaded up all the kids and took a trip to the zoo. Here is a picture of the older kids . Here are the fabulous four. All four of us were pregnant at the same time. Brooke and I had our boys a few weeks apart and then Angie and Mary had their boys on the same day, a few months later (actually on Blake's birthday)
My boys infront of the lion's den. I hope it doesn't like snowcones. Looks like you boys are really enjoying your frozen treats. Jesse is just excited to be out of his stroller.
This may be the closest Cory gets to having a girl. Rhyane is such a sweetheart. We wouldn't mind if she was ours. Some day, we will have one of our own. I know it. :)

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
So a few Sundays ago, I get a very strange call from my mom. We were over at Aunt Jen's for Sunday dinner when she called. The conversation is not exact, but covers the jist of it.
Mom: Are you at home.
Me: No we're at Aunt Jen's
Mom: Are you going to be home soon?
Me: We just got here. Why?
Mom: I have something to drop off at your house.
Me: Okay, what is it.
Mom: (to her husband) Can we tell her. Okay. (now to me) We are bringing you manuere.
Me; (Thinking to myself- what the heck-maneure) Why?
Mom: Because we have it in the back of the truck so we are going to dump it in your yard
Me: Where did you get manuere and why are you bringing it here. Where are you going to put it?
Mom: We'll just put it on your front lawn. And you can put it where you need it.
At this point I was so entirely confused. I could not figure out why in the heck they had manuere and then why they were bringing it to me. Then, why they were just going to plop it in my yard. This conversation was just so bizarre. So I hang up with my mom and am so thoroughly confused. My mind is working overtime trying to figure out what was really going on. After a minute, I realize, I bet she is bringing over snow. So I think maybe they got it from some ward party or something. Then a few minutes later Cory calls me (He was still home with Jesse) and tells me that my mom just dropped of a pile of snow in the yard and that I'd better come home quick because it is starting to melt. So I loaded up the kids with the addition of about 5 other cousins who were dying to see the snow and we headed home. Here is the result of that trip.
